League Sparkles at the 25th Year Heart of Gold

The Women’s League was so fortunate to gather in-person this year for the annual Heart of Gold benefit celebrating 25 years of the Misericordia Women’s League.

After coming together to celebrate virtually last year for the true 25th anniversary, the League was thrilled to reunite with friends, family and Misericordia supporters to honor the milestone with a proper tribute.

Coordinated by co-chairs Amy Allegra, Stephanie Clark and Cathy Murphy, the event honored the Women’s League with a sparkling Silver Jubilee celebration. Between fabulous live and silent auctions, great wine, paddle raise and live music, the event was a huge success, raising more than $850,000 for Misericordia.

We were lucky to welcome our beloved Sister Rosemary with whom we missed celebrating in-person at the virtual event last year. Sister joined us to present the 2022 Heart of Gold Award to longtime Misericordia supporters, Gretchen and Tim McCarty. Throughout her 12 years as a Women’s League member, Gretchen has put her heart and soul into everything she does for the League. Between organizing the Cupid Courts paddle tennis tournament and serving as a former Benefit Chair, Women’s League President and longtime Treasurer, Gretchen has always been a true believer in the mission of Misericordia, Sister Rosemary, Fr. Jack Clair and their entire team.
