Life at Misericordia Update
We would like to share some updates on life here at Misericordia. Thank goodness it has been relatively quiet!
- We had our first Staff booster clinic on 2/22/22 and our next clinic will be 3/1/22. We are slowly making progress on coming into the required Staff booster compliance by 3/15/22.
- The Chicago positivity rate is at 1.3%.
- There are some changes from the CDC and federal government regarding masks. They will no longer be required in many places. However, as a Long-Term Care facility, we will continue to wear masks, and we will be asking all visitors to also wear masks.
- Conway and Holbrook programs are beginning to start up again, but the residents remain in cohorts.
- Residents who attend community schools are beginning to return as school busses and school nurses are available.
- For the March home visit (3/18/22 to 3/20/22), we will not require a home test to return to Misericordia.
- A reminder that the Greenhouse Inn will open on March 15th.
- Due to training needs, the new Hearts & Flour Bakery and Café will open at the end of April.
