MFA Virtual Benefit 2020
The 60th annual MFA benefit was held on June 20, 2020. This year due to the pandemic, we were called to pivot from the actual ballroom scene to a one-hour show that we streamed through our benefit website.
After a one-hour pre-show with cocktail parties, we featured vignettes, resident videos, celebrity cameo appearances, a song with the Shannon Rovers and resident pianist Charlie C., an inspiring message from Sister Rosemary and a virtual paddle raise which we dedicated to the Misericordia staff.
We had our traditional car and cash raffles, a golden ticket raffle, and our silent auction where we featured items that could be enjoyed in the home like fire pits, above-ground swimming pools, and outdoor movie screens. Our silent auction raised record amounts!
Overall, we raised over $1.5 million which was a record for our event!
We appreciate our generous sponsors and donors, for without them we could not continue to provide the exceptional care to our residents that they deserve.
